Badiru is interested in using technology to transform the world and Africa’s educational system. He co-founded two social academic platforms for both students and academics. SmartBukites is a platform that connects students to strengthen their engagement in schools, while Squiry connects academics to foster collaboration, networking, and peer-to-peer learning. He has expertise in Serch Engine Optimization (SEO), Cross-Platform mobile, and web development. He is proficient in Flutter and other technology frameworks including WordPress, JavaScript, Python, PHP and C++. He has worked as a Tech Consultant at KPMG, Afrilight Technology, and Elektron Energy, where he contributed to building technology-driven solutions for business and finance challenges like PITA TAX, Bookeyy and PharmaCRM. In 2019, he was selected to be one of the 50 Nigerian Higher Educational Foundation scholars (NHEF).
