Abstract
This technical report, called for by the faculty of Engineering is a brief explanation of the training carried out during the three (3) months (SIWES I) at Kaduna Electric and Distribution Company in order to know how far the student has gone in his training. The report consists of four (4) chapters which are summarized as follows: Chapter one (1) consist of the Introduction, Chapter two (2) consist of the short brief on “KEDCO” and the safety Induction course, Chapter three (3) explains the experience gained during the training and Chapter four (4) which is the last chapter, deals with the summary, recommendation and conclusion. The activities undertaken was mostly on Transformers and electric poles.
