This is to inform all the students of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) willing to add or drop a course(s) for the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic session that the exercise will soon commence. The exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday 19th April 2021 and end on Monday 3rd May 2021.
It should be noted that one reason or another may necessitate the adding and/or dropping of courses. This could be a result of errors during registration of courses, credit overload, etc. Students should consult their level coordinators for guidance where necessary.
How to carry out BUK add and drop of courses
Time needed: 12 hours
Concerned students should follow the following procedure for Bayero University Add and Drop
– Make a payment of N1,000.00 Using Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) No. from 19th April – 3rd May 2021.
– Click the FGN Federal Government Of Nigeria
– Select Bayero University Kano under the “Who Do You Want To Pay To” section
– Pay the sum of ₦1000.00 with your details.
- Visit the Remita website(www.remita.net)
Click on “Pay TSA & States”
- Select Federal Government of Nigeria
Click on the option of the “FGN: Federal Government of Nigeria”
- Institution and Personal Details
Select and input the following field as indicated
-Who do you want to pay (BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO)
-Name of service/purpose (BUK UG ADD/DROP)
– GIFMISCode (100129)
-Username (Enter your BUK username)
-Registration Number (Enter your BUK Reg number)
-Amount To Pay (#1000.00)
-Select Currency (NGN -Nigeria)
-Payer Phone (Enter your phone number)
-Payer Email (Enter your email address) - Proceed to paying with your card
Kindly enter your CARD NUMBER, EXPIRY DATE and CVV and click pay
- Printing of BUK CRF(Course Registration Form)
The portal will be opened on 19th April 2021 to ONLY the affected candidates. Note that the exercise is for the Second Semester only. Reprint your CRF (Course Registration Form) and submit it to your level coordinator for documentation.

Make sure you keep a photocopy of your receipt for safekeeping.
