ABSTRACT

This technical report shows the overview of the actual work done throughout my three months of Industrial Training held at the Hydro Unit of Saki West Local Government Secretariat. The unit engages in Physical and Engineering Services such as borehole drilling and geophysical survey. This report encompasses a brief outline of the experience gained, especially in areas such as geophysical survey, data acquisition, data analysis, data interpretation, borehole drilling, borehole construction and design, borehole development, as well as pumping machine installation and maintenance. Hence, the report contains pictures of various equipment, machines and instruments used, along with brief descriptions of their operation.
